What to Expect
On the Day of Your Laser Treatment
01
Numbing
We ask that you please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment so that we can prep and numb the treatment area. A member of our staff will go over your pre and post care again from your consultation and answer any remaining questions you might have.
03
External
Once completed, the external attachment is used to deliver energy into the soft tissue, causing a healing response which remodels the treated skin. This treatment takes approximately 45 minutes.
02
Internal Treament
During the treatment your provider will remove any numbing cream and will cleanse the treatment area. The procedure begins with the internal attachment which is inserted and rotated to treat the entire vaginal canal wall. The internal treatment takes approximately 10 minutes.
04
Add-Ons
Patients are welcome to add additional treatment add-ons like a PRP wash or IEP shot to promote faster healing and longer lasting results. Consult with your provider at your next visit to learn about these add-ons.
Please note, treatments may vary depending on the type of treatment we are performing (internal, external, or combination).
